This page describes what data the Find Me Android app
(com.roeib.findme) collects, why it collects it, and how you can
delete it. The app exists to let two people pair their phones, remotely
ring each other if a phone is misplaced, and — when both people opt in — see
each other's latest location on a map (shared about every 15 minutes, and when the partner taps Locate).
The app is operated by the developer listed below. There is no company, no third-party data broker, and no advertising partner.

| Data | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Your Google account email | To identify your account so we know which device to pair and which to ring. | Firebase Authentication (Google Cloud) |
| Your Google account display name | So your partner sees who paired with them. | Firebase Authentication and your pair document in Firestore |
| An app-generated pair code (8 random characters) | To match your two devices to one shared "pair". | Cloud Firestore |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push token | To deliver the "ring" and "locate" requests to your partner's phone. | Cloud Firestore |
| Your device's location (latitude, longitude, accuracy), battery level and movement state (speed / last-moved time) — only while "Let my partner locate me" is turned on | So your partner can see where your phone is on a map, whether it is moving, and whether its battery is about to die. | Cloud Firestore (only the latest fix is kept; auto-deleted within 24 hours) |
Your data is processed by Google's Firebase platform on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third party. Firebase's own privacy practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Your account record and pair document remain in our database for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (see below), your pair document is removed and your Firebase Authentication record is permanently deleted, usually within a few seconds. Firebase backups may retain a copy for up to 90 days before automatic deletion.
Shared locations are short-lived: only the latest position is kept, it is automatically deleted within 24 hours, is erased when you turn "Let my partner locate me" off, and is purged when a pair is unpaired.
Open the Find Me app → tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner → Delete account → confirm. Your account and pair data are erased immediately.
If you no longer have the app installed and want your data deleted, email roei.berkovich@riverside.fm from the Google address you signed in with and we'll delete it within 14 days.
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us and we will delete their data.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Pair documents are protected by Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules so that only the two devices in a given pair can read or write that pair's data.
